Hi, Welcome back!
Modules:
Module 1: Introduction to Neurodiversity in the Workplace
What neurodiversity means, and why ADHD and autism are understood as natural variation in how brains work, not as faults to be corrected. This module sets out how those differences show up at work, in strengths as well as difficulties, and what the rest of the course covers.

Module 2: Understanding ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
What ADHD and autism are and how each shapes behaviour. You will learn how ADHD affects executive function, attention and impulse control, and how autism affects sensory processing, social communication and the need for predictability. The module then connects each to what you are likely to see at work, from interrupting in meetings to avoiding eye contact, and what those behaviours do and do not mean.

Module 3: Recognising Neurodiverse Needs and Challenges
How to read the behaviour in front of you accurately. This module covers the common pressure points for employees with ADHD (disorganisation, shifting deadlines, unclear instructions) and for autistic employees (sensory overload, unspoken social rules, sudden change). It explains why two people with the same diagnosis can need different things, and how to offer support without singling anyone out.

Module 4: Workplace Adjustments for Neurodiverse Employees
What workplace adjustments are and what they are not. This module covers practical adjustments for ADHD, including visual planning tools, smaller steps with regular check-ins, movement and breaks, and for autism, including quiet zones, lighting, written agendas and unambiguous language. You will also learn why predictability helps both groups and how to agree adjustments with the employee instead of deciding for them.

Module 5: Creating Clear Communication and Support Systems
How to communicate so that nothing depends on guesswork. This module covers written recaps, specific and measurable instructions, structured emails and meetings, and regular check-ins. It then looks at support systems, including buddy and mentoring arrangements and an open-door policy with managers and HR, and how to offer help without taking over.
