This diploma-level training builds on the Certificate course and supports therapists to work confidently with high-conflict relationships, complex trauma, and covert abuse in both individual and couples work. Through three focused courses, you’ll explore power, manipulation, identity, and supervision-informed practice, all while protecting your own wellbeing and staying rooted in ethical clarity.
Course 1: Complex Dynamics in Therapeutic Work
Work with complex relational patterns including trauma bonding, role-based identities, dissociation, and the false self. Explore how narcissistic family systems operate and how cultural and systemic factors shape client experience.
Course 2: Couples Work and Ethical Boundaries
Develop the skills to recognise manipulation, power imbalances, and emotional abuse in couples therapy. Learn when neutrality becomes unsafe, how to respond in the moment, and how to make informed decisions about referral or ending joint work.
Course 3: Advanced Practice and Supervision
Apply your learning through reflective clinical case work and develop a sustainable, supervision-informed practice. This course supports therapist wellbeing, boundary clarity, and ethical integrity in emotionally demanding client work.
