This Course in a Nutshell
Welcome to our course on supporting employees with ADHD and Autism in the workplace. Designed for managers, this course will teach you what ADHD and Autism mean in the workplace, and show you how to support this with it, whilst implementing strategies that will create an environment that ADHD and autistic employees can thrive in. Together we will we’ll build a workplace that not only benefits the neurodiverse members, but the whole team as a ripple effect.
Course Overview
ADHD and Autism occur much more frequently than we realise. With 1 in 36 children in the UK being diagnosed with autism, and around 5% of children in the UK being diagnosed with ADHD. And that’s only the ones who are diagnosed.
The workplace can be a tricky place to navigate when your brain works differently to the majority. Small, simple accommodations can give neurodiverse people the equity to achieve their full potential as well as build understanding and acceptance from the rest of the team.
Throughout the course you’ll learn the everyday challenges neurodiverse people face, and how easy it is to make those small accommodations, that can harness the strengths and skills that often come with ADHD and Autism.
